{"id":10779,"date":"2025-05-28T20:44:28","date_gmt":"2025-05-29T02:44:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nbm.com.mx\/?p=10779"},"modified":"2025-05-28T20:44:31","modified_gmt":"2025-05-29T02:44:31","slug":"morelia-chavez-firma-con-las-bulldogs-de-fresno-state-en-ncaa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nbm.com.mx\/index.php\/2025\/05\/28\/morelia-chavez-firma-con-las-bulldogs-de-fresno-state-en-ncaa\/","title":{"rendered":"Morelia Ch\u00e1vez firma con las Bulldogs de Fresno State en NCAA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>La p\u00edvot mexicana, <strong>Morelia Ch\u00e1vez<\/strong>, ha sido <strong>seleccionada <\/strong>a trav\u00e9s del portal de transferencias de la <strong>NCAA<\/strong>, por el <em>coach<\/em> Ryan McCarthy de las <strong>Bulldogs <\/strong>de <strong>Fresno State<\/strong> University para el roster de la temporada 2025-2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ch\u00e1vez llega al &#8216;Vallle Central&#8217; de California desde Florida State Univeristy (<strong>FSU<\/strong>), equipo en el que milit\u00f3 junto a la sinaloense, Mariana Valenzuela, donde <strong>solo tuvo actividad en seis partidos con las &#8216;Noles&#8217;<\/strong>; en lo que ser\u00e1 su <strong>\u00faltimo a\u00f1o de elegibilidad<\/strong>, adem\u00e1s de ser la s\u00e9ptima estudiante en llegar como transferencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Previo a Florida, la de <strong>1.85 metros<\/strong> de altura pas\u00f3 <strong>dos temporadas en Eastern Arizona<\/strong> con 33 partidos como titular en 61 duelos, siendo nombrada en el &#8216;<strong>Primer Equipo de la Conferencia Atl\u00e9tica de <em>Comunnity College <\/em>de Arizona DI<\/strong>&#8216; y en el &#8216;<strong>Primer Equipo de la Regi\u00f3n<\/strong>&#8216; en 2024, de la<em> National Junior College Athletic Association<\/em> (NJCAA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La de Michoac\u00e1n <strong>promedi\u00f3 11.8 puntos, 5.5 rebotes y 1.8 asistencias<\/strong> con un 42.6% en tiros de campo en esa temporada con las &#8216;<em>Monsters<\/em>&#8216;.
